1. Order a fridge for your hotel room, $10-15 per night. Put bagged breast
milk in freezer compartment. Also you need freeze the ice pack which comes
with the pump
2. Bring additional batteries.
3. I used public restrooms at conference. Of course, find a relative quite
one, don't pump during breaks (too many people). I hang the pump backpack on
the door and stand inside.
4. I found it's very helpful to bring
- different sizes of ziplock bags,
- paper towel & disinfect wipes, (then to lay out pumps, bottles pn the
hotel table, let them dry after wash)
- a mid size plastic lunch box (use as a bowl to wash everything; store
bagged breast milk on the way home),
- supplies to wash everything
5. I put some frozen bagged breast milk in the lunch box in checked in
luggage. A couple of more bags in the pump container.
wash hands carefully before pumping and handling bagged milk.
Good luck!
