My 2nd & 3rd one have similar situation. They do both breast & bottle during
the first 3-4 months, then resist to taking bottles that
I have to do breast feeding only. At the begging, it is kind of hard. But
just try to feed more frequently, your milk supply will increase based on
baby's need. Sometimes, my babies are even satisfied sucking my empty breast
. Also, at this stage, you can do lots of activities with the baby in
between each feeding, such as playing baby toys, making silly faces/talking,
grocery shopping, walking around...My baby is so curious and busy playing
and looking around that he is not fussy about feeding even though sometimes
I feel that I don't have enough milk.
Remember, he will start solid foods in about two months. By then he will eat
more solids and his demand on your breast milk will decrease. Therefore,
don't worry about him not getting enough from you for now. In my opinion, it
is fine as long as he is happy and gaining weight.
I have 3 kids. My 1st is mostly bottled. 2nd & 3rd do breast & bottle for 3-
4 months, then breast only for 2-3 months, then breast and solid until 12-
month.
