Happy New Year!!
I finished a phone interview today with a small teaching university. (
California State University)
They asked me why I am interesting in their small university (seems they are
not confident about me going there, hehe). I told them I want a combination
of teaching and research.
They told me that teachers there have to teach 3 courses a semester and ask
how do I feel. I told them I can handle it and still have time to do
research. Maybe I talked too much about research and they finished the
interview shortly.
Maybe it is just my feeling. Who knows! Any ideas about my performance? What
should I improve next time?

我们公司一个月发一次，给了7，8，9月的paystub，当时10月还没有出来
现在出来的，发现新公司还没有file。要把10分的paystub也发过去么？
因为10月份，我的工资被减了，所以跟前几个月不一样，这有问题么？谢~

小弟替人帮忙，想要找一些有关好莱坞重量人物的资料，制片、导演、编剧甚至造型师
化妆师都可以，只要是圈内的名人即可。不需要详细说明，只要给个名字即可，偶可以
自己google。本人实在是孤陋寡闻，就只知道一些名导名演员而已。

教三门课基本就真的是行尸走肉了，估计只能在暑假作研究了。

B2签证给的是1年,是进海关的时候最长只给6个月
然后你可以在出境时间快到之前1-2个月,向移民局递交延期申请

延期据说会对下次签证有负面影响，不过有多大影响只有问你碰到的VO才能知道。

直接imdb上找投资100m以上的
基本都是大牌制作人
200m以上投资的
不powerful还真弄不来钱

Teaching school不光是整天教课，而且学校research的资源很少。
首先更本没有ph.d.学生能给你。也没有供研究用的实验室。只有本科教学用的实验室
。当然也没有钱去支持你搞研究。老实说，你也不可能申请到什么大项目。
给funding的人不傻，知道你的研究环境。
第二，工资很低，不是一般得低。大概相当于工业届fresh M.S. entry level 毕业的
工资水平。CSU好多在大城市的老师都买不起房子。

对，只有公民才能给父母申请家庭移民。或者你父母自己够条件申请职业移民也行，比
如有特殊技能，或者有钱做投资移民。除此之外大概只有政治庇护这种方法了。

There are 23 campuses in total. The one is on the north part of CA.

找teaching school还是要多谈teaching，否则别人会误认你对research更感兴趣，留
了你你以后要不会happy，有机会还可能会跳到research school。

update: (phone interview on 2/2/2011 and get the email 3/16/2011 or today)
today the department chair email me and say,
"For further consideration of your application, please visit our website http://xxx for information about our academic programs, and specifically our courses' site http://xxx . Then, let me know which courses you will be able teach here in our ECE department, and perhaps some suggested courses that may want to develop/introduce for enhancing our programs."
what does he mean?
