这个好像是只适用于federal tax. state TMD的不管long term 还是short term
一律charge tax.

平时就上上网，用WORD，偶尔用数据分析软件，做图软件。要XP系统，不要DELL。速度
不要太慢，价格不要太贵。

Since Linux does not support multiple threads within
one process, is a thread and a process basically the
same thing in Linux?
Does Windows support that? Any OS?

刚买了没多久，在北美用着很爽，上个月去意大利玩，从网上下了个破解版欧洲地图，
没想到到了意大利，连信号都没有，地图也就没用上，挺郁闷的，难道北美的机器不能
被欧洲的卫星识别？有经验的朋友，给说说啊！多谢！

刚用turbotax填完税。偶收入比较不高。没有到25%的tax bracket. long term
stock capital gain 都没交federal tax.
state 没有选项去掉这个，只能交税了。

What do you mean threads within one process?
Nope, threads and process are different.
threads share process memory mapping and signal handling.

If your J-1 has the 212(e) waiver, file I-539 with
USCIS to change status from J-2 to F-1.
If your J-1 does not have the 212(e) waiver,
leave the U.S., apply for an F-1 visa, and then
reenter the U.S.

I meant Linux thread is somewhat the same as a Linux process,
unlike OS such as Mach where multiple threads running within
one process.
This is user level for Linux, or kernel level?
I read all POSIX threads are user level?

Define "within".
The thread shared signal and virtual memory with the process,
does it count as "within"?
The thread is a schedule-able task just like process in Linux.
The only different with process is that it share signal and memory.
Kernel level.
No, that is not how it works now. User level threads are nightmares
when you deal with file io and sockets.
You can read a little bit more about the linux "clone" system call.
As far as I can tell, clone can be used to implement POSIX compatible
threads. It is even better, more flexible. That is one area that
Linus done better than the POSIX guys.
