那个预约的通知上说只要预约的确认信和护照就行，但是网上申请表填完后给的确认说
要带supporting documents。我周一就去按指纹，有些文件还没准备好。所以想问问到
底需不需要。要需要的话那我就去不了了。

从没买过apple任何东西的人问一下
去哪里买ipad会比较便宜？
直接去apple的店？官方价格是不是已经很合理了？
还是有更便宜的方式？

直接送到办税号的office的话，需要护照原件，不用父母到场。办公证的话，护照原件
和父母本人都要在场。

I went to the local IRS office yesterday, trying to apply for my parents'
ITIN. I brought the completed W-7 forms and my parents' passports with me.
To my surprise, the IRS lady told me that I could not just submit W-7 by
itself. She said I had to submit the W-7 with the corresponding tax return
form (1040). So she asked me to come back next spring when it's time to do
the tax filing. (I am going to claim my parents as my dependents for the
2010 tax year.) The W-7 instruction does mention that W-7 form needs to be
accompanied by the tax return form. But I remember 2 years ago when I
applied for my mother-in-law's ITIN, I did not attach the 1040 to the W-7
and I did receive my mother-in-law's ITIN a few weeks later.
