Slickdeals上一个叫demaximis posted 消息
I just spoke to HP SMB by calling 866-625-0759 . I waited
for approximately 20 minutes to speak to someone. I realize I could have
called the sales line to speak to someone immediately, but I wanted to talk
to someone in the orders department, based on the confirmation email I
received.
We spoke at length about the process, and he candidly admitted that they had
no actual knowledge about shipping dates. He said that the orders that
indicated a specific warehouse (mine indicates IN) were being handled by the
manufacturer directly. He said that normally, their equipment is produced
and then moved to warehouses that they control. In this case, they have sold
out their production volume, and are awaiting additional production from
the factory. He said that, as production comes off-line, the factory will
notify and ship directly to the customer. As a result, he said to expect
another email when shipped. He said that he was supposed to quote a lead
time of 2-3 weeks, but he also said that shipping could begin this week, and
would proceed as more units reach final production.
We talked about my order number, 43892XX, and that it would be amongst the
first to ship, because it is just after the orders that were fulfilled in
the first round of shipping. My order was placed on Saturday, but not
registered by HP until Sunday, early AM. He said that the order number is
what controls the place in line, not the date the credit was proccessed;
however, he was unsure whether the order number was assigned at time of
order, or at time credit is processed.
He reminded me that the order status information is not accurate (still in
admin, with a shipping date of 8/27 and a delivery date of tomorrow), and
that I should await the shipping email from the factory.
I hope this information helps others in the same situation.
