try this command: ioreg -lw0 | grep "EDID" | sed "/[^If it shows LPxxx, more likely it's a LG panel and has the issue. But to really confirm the issue, do the following: 1. open terminal and set the background to gray (128/128/128), opacity to 100. 2. open something other apps and leave it there for, say, 20 min. 3. switch to terminal window, move it around to see if you can see the app behind it . If you do, that's the ghosting.
