L.A.-O.C. home prices level for first time in 3 years
Los Angeles and Orange County home prices were dead even with last year’s
levels in December, the first time prices didn’t fall in almost three years
, according to the Standard & Poor’s Case-Shiller Home Price Index.
It’s the first time since January 2007 that home prices had not fallen from
the year before. According to the index, L.A.-O.C. home prices had fallen
for 35 consecutive months, from February 2007 through November 2009.
