Anyone has experience on the installation of the water softener and the
under sink water purifier?
The water softener will be installed in the basement to soften all the water
, will need to cut the main copper water pipe and connect it through the
water softener.
The under sink water purifier will be installed in the kitchen,
The plumbing company quoted a price of $600 for all materials/labor, is it
too expensive? They claim that it will take a whole day for the installation.

大家不要乱扣“轮”的帽子，这样会犯阶级斗争扩大化的严重错误
“轮”和“粉”是有非常严格的界定的，绝对不是帮某厂商/产品说好话，
或者诋毁其竞争厂商/产品就是“轮”
成为“轮”的充分必要条件是阶级立场：是为党说话还是为人民说话……
呃，错了，是从厂商利益角度说话还是从消费者利益说话

The $600 is only for labor and some small parts such as plastic tube and
connectors, etc.

同意，用什么就叫什么轮，实在是对轮这个高级称号的一种恶意贬低
前一阵有人还说IT是狗咬狗
那消费者就是一边的看客
边看边乐的算普
选立场加油助威的算粉
跳下场脱光了替己方的狗去咬的才算得上轮

Lowes也只要300的安装费，更何况你可以找个当地的handy man给你装。不到200.
