coordinating the work of the college?
3. When you are Dean, what will be the role of Department Chairs?
4. Can you identify areas where the college should or might evolve,
including personnel, physical space, academic programs, and research?
5. How would you raise funds for the college?
6. How would you increase the level of support for first-year PhD students?
7. How would you decrease the negativity in the college, and elevate the
level of professionalism?
8. How would you increase the number of faculty who are women, Latino, Black
, and American Indian?
9. What are some possible NOVEL academic programs that the college should
consider AND how would you suggest those be initiated?
