希望能挺过这个Q2，追捧了HTC三年，从Hero 用到EVO，刚出蝴蝶的时候眼前一亮，到
DNA ,到 One X, 到 ONE。

用过多普达、EVO、one x，都是很不错的东西

n年前用过。东西不错，但是感觉质量不是很稳定。希望能恢复过来，不能让棒子那么

One of the most important reasons that smart phone users coming from iPhone
to Android is for the flexibility(mainly removable battery and SD slot), but
HTC doesn't give. It tries to make the phone looks as nice as iPhone, and
ignore the flexibility. That strategy is wrong.
The marketing of HTC also did not do good job. Just think about the name of
the product. It's kind of messy.

通常同事走了，还要wish company well； 有见过立马到twitt发帖劝退的吗？
这帮人一月时就决定是要走人的，HTC太仁慈；拖到现在才走。
这篇报道炒四个月前的老新闻，闭口不提HTC one 卖的不错的事实。
再说了为什么要跟3星比，苹果都卖不过三星。HTC 只要做好自己，这个市场够大去容

Honestly, none of this is surprising. And it couldn’t happen to a more
deserving group of people. I worked there in 2008, and it was a nightmare
already. Marketing was led by a former Starbucker whose feet were so far off
the ground he could not execute for being lost in the land of Brand (a
problem for many marketers who get seduced by the more abstract factors in
marketing). The leads who managed the accounts with the carriers ranged from
manipulative, narcissistic, and arrogant to completely incompetent. In one
meeting, they literally passed around dummy units and just tossed out
positioning statements about each device. “Hmm…this seems like it would be
used by mini-van moms. And this one feels more like one for young
professionals.” A one hour meeting, eight devices, each receiving the most
naive treatment to decide how they would go to market. And guess how many of
those devices the carriers picked up? None. They were crap and they knew it
. Don’t get me started on the world’s most incompetent contract project
manager hired by marketing to get their devices sold in to the carriers and
preferred retailers. She couldn’t PM her way out of a spreadsheet because
she – I’m not lying! – could not use Excel. When I built a budget for a
project she was supposed to hand off to me, I discovered she had overlooked
$60k in expenses. She immediately began trying to cover it up by setting me
up to fail.
Their vendors hated them because they were constantly randomized when they
weren’t being thrown under the bus. And the agency who came up with “
quietly brilliant”? They blew up in 2011 when one of their founders came
back from a sabbatical to find himself and sold the entire agency to a low-
end competitor.
The head of North America who gave that disastrous interview at MWC in
Barcelona this year? The one people tore apart in the comments on here? He
was just a good ole boy with way too many kids and a god complex (ironic for
a professing Christian like him)…an example of why some men let their egos
exceed their abilities.
In short, the signs were evident 5 years ago when they were just getting
started. None of today’s news is surprising. Overall it is a sad
organization led by people who are/were that dangerous combination of stupid
and arrogant, who made really crappy consumer products. Let HTC go to the
history bin.

这些人走说不定还是好事呢，你看看现在HTC的命名，市场调研和设计后期宣传，哪一
样可圈可点？从HD2神机出过后，后面的产品实在不敢恭维。

能显得这些人素质有限。
