from http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5736
"
Reallocating some of our 1900 MHz spectrum from 2G (EDGE) technology to 4G
HSPA+
Upgrading existing equipment on our towers to improve coverage and
reliability
Launching 4G LTE in 2013
"
so from a phone device's perspective, as long as it has an antenna that
works on the frequency, it can speak (and switch between ) any protocols
that the provider tells it to?
I'm trying to buy a cheap SHAN1 ZHAI phone from china to support GUO2 HUO4,
but have to be very careful that the frequency is supported. so far it seems
that Tmobile uses 1700/2100 combo (which is called AWS ) for 3g, while most
phones in China only support 850/2100, good only for ATT.

关于这个tmo]的spectrum,前几天看到一个图是讲他们家以后的规划
具体记不清了,大概是是要把AWS ban腾出来给lte用,然后把75%的HSPA+ service 挪到
1900MHz上
