Here is my email to her this morning, I hardly slept last night because of
my new roomate's crazy schedule, she was here for two weeks and still got up
several times during the midnight to message with her friends. The messages
come in with lound music which always wake me up...very sad! I know some
words are kind of harsh, but what I can do, I need good sleep in the
midnight and work hard during the day.please help with solutions:
Hi HX,
I admit that 2011 is not for me so far. OK? I took out the two trashes from
Kitchen, most of which is from you because I only stay 3 nights here and I
rarelly cook, and I stay in the lab from 9:00 am to 9 pm during the workdays
. So please take out the trash from the bathroom (most of which is still
from you). From that point on, we use seperate trash can and you clean your
own trash, which should be timely to avoid bad smell and bacterial to grow
in the common shared place. You have to clean the countertop in the kitchen
after you cook, again it is shared place, placing your kitchen utencils all
over the counter is not right.
For sleeping time, which is the most reason that we are not happy with now.
You have to leave at least eight quiet hours for me to sleep during the
night, say 11:00pm -7pm, during this time you have to be absolutely quiet,
like you are sleeping. Because, this is very normal sleep schedule for
normal people. You have no reason to force people to follow your weird sleep
schedule ( 12:00pm -6:30am with 5 loud music alarms 2:00am, 4:00am and 6:
30am, 7:00am, 7:30am in between ) just because you are a surgeon when you
are in China and you have to get up to do several operations for people in
the midnight and you do not care about sleeping or not during the night. You
got to turn off your alarms, stop move things around, stop bathing yourself
during that time period and keep quiet, let other people sleep...., then I
will follow your rule. Otherwise, the housing manager will meet you and do
something, if that still does not work, you are out!
Forget about how I helped you at the begining, you woke me up to open the
outside door for you and your two male friends11:30pm in the midnight when
your were here the first night just because you do not know how to use your
key to open it (stupid keys!) and knocked my door again 12:00pm when I was
trying to go back to sleep. I let you use my
kitchen utencils, rice, eggs, and my phone to call yor friends, I helped you
contact some church friends to help you out during the weekend. Of course
you gave me two mini packs of baby wipes, which are free from somewhere (
fine, I do not use it anyway!). Then you turned your back forgot everything
I have done for you and just disturb me during my sleep time. From now on,
you follow the common rule, I follow the common rule or we got to meet the
housing manager to work on this.
Remember, I will never ever follow your crazy sleep schedule, this has to be
stopped. No one in this world like your sleep schedule. Do not pretend you
do not know that, OK?
I have to say "good luck" with your staying in the U.S., you have many
things to learn.
