好像必须要root。 FTV只能设置router 来阻止升级吗？ 没有别的方法吗？ 非常感谢！

Su = super user. Of course, you need to get root to permission.

不好意思 再追问一个。怎么知道有没有成功block？ 我在router设置里Website
Blocking
by URL Address里加了update的那几个网址。但是点update还是能刷新 然后last
updated显示是最新的时间。 这个正常吗？ 谢谢！

After entering blocked address in the router,
1) get a laptop or iPad,
2) open a browser,
3) Try to go the site you try to block in the router.
If got the message site is not available, you block the site. Otherwise,
you did not block the site.
Anyway, I have rooted Fire TV and unrooted Fire TV stick. IMO, it is not
that big deal to have rooted Fire TV since latest Fire TV software update
allows third party apps installed.
After entering blocked address in the router,
1) get a laptop or iPad,
2) open a browser,
3) Try to go the site you try to block in the router.
If got the message site is not available, you block the site. Otherwise,
you did not block the site.
Anyway, I have rooted Fire TV and unrooted Fire TV stick. IMO, it is not
that big deal to have rooted Fire TV since latest Fire TV software update
allows third party apps installed.
