Like to have this functionality so that I won't miss important Text Message.
Apple Watch ($399) and Fitbit Surge ($250) both support it.
Microsoft band also supports it but it got bad review (very unfortable to
wear).

Any other cheaper choices? I got Fitbit Charge a few months ago, and it can
get Phone Call notification (not Text).

It looks like the Pebble can receive Text Notification.

最便宜的应该是小米手环，加上安猪hack版本的小米运动，什么notification都可以加

在用 vidonn 的 X6 ($35在 Banggood 买的，刚才看到 $26.99 @ Gearbest)
配iphone 5s用。收短信,email,notification啥的没问题。
硬件不错，就是app做得很烂。刚升级 ios9，结果一连手环就闪退。

notification有。显示没有。
我的用了9个月了，就当是silent alarm和电话的notification。现在电话基本可以一
直silent模式也不会漏接电话。

我用Garmin vivosmart，用了一个多月，还凑合，但是不知道到底耐不耐操，LZ可以多
做研究~
对了，不支持中文text。想添加什么app的notification都可以，微信，QQ这些都默认
收...但是也不支持中文...

I got Martian Notifier at Amazon, paid $50. It's more like a traditional
watch with bluetooth based app notification.

It does not. It's just a regular watch, with a led screen and bluetooth
capability (and that part works with smart phone).
A better device in my opinion is Fitbit Surge which has all the functions.
But I already have Fitbit Charge recently.

我打算最近买一个。在youtube上看的几个vivosmart好像可以显示中文?
