请教一下，offer letter 里面这句话：
"In the event that your employment ceases
for reasons of cause or resignation
prior to completion of one year of service from your start date,
you shall pay back the sign-on bonus to the employer."
这里“cause”是不是法律用语？怎么理解？ 是不是有歧义？
是不是说，公司要炒我或雷我（也就是说我不是自愿离职），
我也得归还 sign-on bonus？
如果我要讨价还价，要求在 offer letter 里写明
“被炒被雷不需要归还 sign-on bonus”，应该怎么争取？
