除却开始新faculty的兴奋之余，有时候静下来想想：
1）大家觉得自己能融入community么，不是系里的，是自己生活的community，左右邻
居什么的
2）感觉下一代（孩子），亚裔，和其它人融合有问题，都是自己种族跟自己种族的人
玩，这个在加州这种亚裔很多的地方的还好，到什么中东部农村，那估计更惨。。。。。
3）到美国来，不是自己不想交朋友，而是农村地方，人都很少啊。。。。
4）一个办公室，一个House, 亲人，冷冷清清的四周环境，就这样过一生？
5）。。。。。。。想起来再说

The cat is shedding too much on the flannel bedding, and so I had to cover
the bed up with an old sheet.
Enjoying cat nip.
The mantis in the backyard - one day I saw another one beside it - could be
his mate? Not sure if anybody got eaten in the process. But either should
be gong as the season wanes.

实话说，真的融不进去。
能融进去的就那么几种情况，
１。外F （这个也就勉强进去吧）
２。到老美教会去装疯卖傻

No 关系 with 黑猫, except that the mantis is in our backyard so kind of
related to us. I took a picture of the mantis and posted here before, and
thought that someone was pretty interested.

你理想中想怎么融？
刚开始肯定少，之后playdate,birthday party,邻居带娃直接来敲门，很快你就希望娃
让自己清净清净了。

老汉今年五十多。两点一线，一点不闷。还怕别人来打搅。醒着的时候， 80% 的
时间忙 grant, paper, meeting, etc，20% 的时间吃喝拉撒加上网闲逛，就算能融入
也没时间。
