We bought the house recently, the previous owner replaced the sump pump (the
older one is 1/2HP and the new one is 1/3HP). I feel the sump pump is
weird. It turns on every 37-40 minutes and keep pumping 8-10 minutes even
on the sunny days. But there is no water drained to the outside (I checked
the pipe which is dry). In order to test it, I feel water into the basement
tank to a certain level, then the sump pump can drain water to the outside
...
My understanding is if the sump pump turns on

今天早晨闹铃响，起来第一件事就是给兔兔准备早餐，她正蹲在她的litterbox里，一
见我，马上窜出来到她的饭碗前候着了，我瞟了一眼她的厕所，好一大捧新货。数了数
－－－６５颗呀。那昨天老三说的２００颗还不是轻松拿下？问题是，我觉得通常她还
有存货，可以随时随地拿出来标识地盘......

找水泵公司得来看看吧
那个洞里水位没有上升的时候
水泵不应当自行启动

Sump Pump都有个浮标.水位高到一定程度就接通Sump Pump.
当水位降到一定程度就关掉Sump Pump.
如果你的Sump Pump工作了8-10分钟,却没有出水.
那它怎么自己关掉的呢?
你先检查一下浮标是否工作.
能不能上个照片.
