my 9 yrs old cat just pass away this morning# pets - 心有所宠

he sick for a month(no eat and drink), later figure out have tomur, too late
for surgery.
plan to get surgery coming tuesday, but pass away today morning.
he send my wife a dreram around 5 am, saying to cold and he can not stand
any longer.
when we get up 9 am, first thing is look for him.
I find him lay down on the carpet, his heart stop to pop up and down.
I know he leave us now..............
we cry for a while, if we bring him to clinc two week early, he won't die....

my biggest mistake is wait too long to take him to the vent.
busy to fix the house.
we just bought a house, we think now our cat can have more place to walk and
play instead whole day stay in the apt.
but we just moving in 4 months. He realy enjor the house.
but he just pass away.
I ready don't know what I done in the pass, god take my baby away that fast.

he just keep eat less and less. in the meantime, toke him to see vet, the
doctor say a normal sick give us some zeniquin for ten day.
but after those drug done. he still sick, then we bring him back.
he say he getting tumor.
the doctor give us 3 way to tream the cat:
1, put him to sleep.
2, wait for him to die.
3, surgery.
we pick 3, want to do it ASAP.
if he can stand for couple days, even two day, we will bring him to the
surgery.
on other hand,properly he don't want it too.die one day before

I thought the same thing after reading the original post. I was going to
write sth similar but held it back as it's already a past, no help anymore.
Now it's clear after LZ's explaination.
Gosh, i should pay attention if my cats start to eat less.

you might right, if do the surgery, there is very high chance die on the
table.
even the surgery is good, the cat won't as health as before, maybe have lot'
s of effection after that. living in a paintful life.
we should do that in very early stage, but most of the time, the doctor won'
t tell you what is going,they are not sure is a tumor or not.usually when
they figure out, it is too late.
the vet, I go which is very propular, the doctor around 60,have lot's of
experience. he still don't know

I'm confuse, sometime those vet doctor will make the cat wrose.
every time he come out eat grass will vomit in home. we feed him egg.
the other day, he will be good as before. but this time, we busy for other
thing, then forget about him.when we find out is already too late.
we will get self 责备 for long long time.
