Please help adopt these puppies
Hi, I adopted the terrier mix dog from a small pet store couple of weeks
ago. They didn't tell me she was pregnant. On the night of Feb, 14th she
delivered six puppies in my closet! I live in a small apartment , it's
very hard for me to keep all of them although I want to.
I will keep the brown one for the mom and find good homes for other 5
ones. They will be ready for adoption after 8 weeks' nursing. It's been
one week since they were born. This Friday I will take them to the vet for
health check.
I won't charge any money if they go to good homes. But I do want to visit
them at least once to see if they do well in your home, cause I love them
so much.
Please give me a call if you are interested.

最好写一下妈妈的Breed,体重,这样可以对Puppy长大以后的Size有估计.
不知道让领养的人早点过来看Puppy,交一些押金(20-30? 你定了) ,是不是比口头答应
了什么都不押的好,这样只有真心要的才会过来看,不然有些人邮件说的很好,真要来领
的时候反悔,到时候又要花时间找新的家庭.

一定要押金，免得出尔反尔。

稍微帮你改了一下，更符合一点美国人说话的习惯。其实我强烈建议至少收点deposite
，以后还他们都可以，不能一开始就不要钱。

deposit may can be 30 if got the first shot after 8 weeks. It is also very
cheap.

But if you ask 30, that is nothing. just for make sure they can go a good

first shot is also not cheap, you will know it.
if you can visit the home, and take long time process to looking for good
people, they will fix dogs.
good people is the key/

我觉得你太小心翼翼了，30要得太少了，就要50.
你别管有人说你啊，就让那些人说好了，as long as craglist没有把你的list take
down,那就pass了。你总不能please everyone. 再说，发邮件骂你的，又不花那些人一
毛钱，你管那些人干嘛呢。如果连50都不愿意给的，有啥诚意呢。连50都不能afford的
，能指望以后这种家庭给小狗合适的生活么？

Money is a sign, home visit is the most importent things.
When I was looking Tintin and Huahua home.
I only ask 25 for each, but I need do home visiting.
someone say ,they can pay me 100,if I can give them to him without visiting
.
I did not agree, and went the place he said to me, it was a Motel, He said
he want meet me there, but the manager in Motel said, the guy is living in
Motel.
I took my puppies home, I could not give my puppies to the people who do not
have home.

if you don't want to get many unwanted or unqualified calls, better be
specific with the kind of ideal homes you are looking for, such as: family
with yard, with active lifestyle, pet friendly kids etc. and you will do
home visit first etc.

Wudoo mm 我说你如果想做home visit的话，给puppy之前更容易也更有用，因为主动权
在你手里。puppy交出去之后你就loose control了。未必找得到他们人。即使他之前答
应过你，即使他之前给你的地址是真的，他也可以拒绝，你一点辙没有。

另外提条件吧...比如要求adopter提供一个reference之类的...

你可以就说收20块钱（？）rehome fee和要求home visit。Home visit的目的其实就是
看看这人的生活状态再跟他随便聊聊狗，没有什么是硬条件，只是想得到一点感觉他是
否靠谱。我想大部分真心想领养狗的人都不会拒绝home visit（如果他答应的话，你反
而可以选择不去而改成一般的谈谈）。

If i were the new owner of the puppy, i would prefer you do home visit
before the adoption, not after if there must be one.
Home visit after the adoption might turn away the potential owners. You can
request some photo update after the adoption instead.

you request home visit BEFORE giving out the pups
if the person refuses home visit, you don't give out the puppies
if the person agrees, you can have a chat over the phone first...
you should also request a reference and chat with the reference too.
you don't have to do the home visit even if you request so.
good applicants shall be well spoken, have a stable job, can give good
reasons why they want a puppy, have solid reference etc... they should be
home owners, not renters who moves every 3 months... you can figure all this
out over the phone.
ask for address and you can drive around the neighbourhood or look it up on
google.
DON'T JUST GO TO SOME STRANGER'S HOUSE WITHOUT INVESTIGATION FIRST....
DON'T invite strangers to your house without screening them either...
