Mahogany has many types, some really good, usually from s. america. some
cheap from southeast asia. Good mahogany is good for carving as they won't
chip.
this is definitely cheap and soft mahogany, as it has to be wrapped by a
layer of veneer of other type of wood.
Mahogany solids is not solid Mahogany either. these are wasted mahogany
compressed together using glues.
