meal might not be so bad, in the wild they eat the whole thing, feather,
skin, hair, who knows what nutrients are in those by-products. people add
supplement but nobody knows the exact recipe. like eating vitamine C is not
the same as eating an orange.
i heard wellness, for example, have a high fat contents, because fat is
cheaper than protein and since they all want to advertise "grain free" AND
make a profit. Some brand that has the "meal" might have more protein than
fat.
commercial food cannot be trusted ah, but i am lazy. I feed nature variety
instinct. it is expensive but cats seem to like the rabbit, duck and venison
. you can buy the big cans for dogs (same exact stuff) to save some money.
Some people by raw whole rabbit online directly, pre-ground or ground
yourself, which already have bone and meat. Other people buy live prey (
ewwwwww....)
