Maybe bunny is good for your situation. They are quite low maintenance; they
could be litter trained; doesn't require a large space. Seem to me like a
good fit for you.
I would have recommend kitties, but looks like you are a dog person. Kitties
are very independent and are much less obedient than dogs, and since you
like dogs, you might not enjoy kitties.

rabbits need space too...they are not cage animals
they are not obedient either...mine two dont even like the room arrange I

I'm not saying bunnies don't need space, okay; and I'm definitely not saying
they are cage animals! I'm just saying, compared to dogs, they need less
space.
As for obedience, imho, they are more 'easy going' than cats. All the
bunnies that I have seen in the pet stores have no problem of being petted
or even held, but the most cats wouldn't even let me get close to them, let
alone petting and holding.
This trait of bunnies sort of resembles some of those of dogs, again imho,
so I think a dog person should be more comfortable with that.

i currently have both dogs and rabbits
rabbits did more damage than my two big dogs (lab size)
i paid >$300 fine when I moved out my 2nd apartment...it was also the place
I raised my first bunny
majority rabbits hate to be held...that's why rabbits are not good pets for
young children
those in pet stores are baby bunnies, they will change when they are older
just giving some advice to lz so he/she can make better decisions

很奇怪，这不是宠物版吗？怎么好多人的建议都不怎么友好啊。我买了这个condo,所以
如果为了养狗要搬出去的话，我要租出去这个condo先，然后自己还要找房子，然后还
要当房东。新买的房子就租出去，不心疼吗？又没有当过房东。所以太麻烦了。养蛇养
蜘蛛？您这也太离谱了吧。

是很多人养蛇， 蜥蜴，蜘蛛什么的。 外国人很多养这些的。 中国人比较少罢了。 这
些好的地方就是不用花很多资源， 容易打理。
养猫咪也行， 工作量大些， 我朋友也有养鸟养鱼养仓鼠荷兰猪的。

20 gal的 5只tetra 4只zebra 2只dwarf gourami, 一只red tail shark.
大部分植物是真的。
这些鱼养的好的话都能活四五年以上的。
本来有一只angel 可是被所有的鱼fin nipping。
