有人打电话问客服了,客服说现在正在手动review消费以决定报销与否

Ok, I broke the rules and called Amex about getting my MPX Amaxon.com
gift card purchase reimbursed. (Don't go too hard on me, longtime lurker,
new poster...)
The rep asked why the charge said 'Amazon.com' in it, I was very cagey and
did not mention it was a gift card, just said, "United had a cross-promotion
with Amazon.com". Then I asked, "you can see that this is a charge from UA,
correct?" She said she saw that, and that this clearly was not 'airline
incidentals'.
I asked why it hadn't automatically been reimbursed. She said that they are
manually reviewing charges under this benefit program for reimbursement,
and it takes up to two weeks.
I asked her to reimburse it anyway, and she said she'd have to speak to a
supervisor. I told her not to worry about it. (Because I didn't want to
raise any flags and screw up the program for anyone else.)
