Meet Tucker he is a 15 year old neutered male JRT who was an owner surrender
. His family has had him for 15 years and said they could no longer afford
to care for him so they surrendered him. Best of all they filled out an
owner surrender form and said he was sweet but didn't know if anyone would
want a dog as old as he is. This boy totally won my heart tonight because he
is super sweet. I'm also a sucker for the seniors. As soon as I picked him
up he showered me with kisses. He will follow you around and just wants to
be pet and loved on. Tucker is marked RESCUE ONLY because of his age, he is
deaf, and he has some old man teeth and a mild heart murmur. Despite all of
this he's a total winner in my book. Staff report that Tucker appears to be
housetrained.

*SENIOR ALERT* A1433836 DALY & A1433833 STRETCH & A1433835 BANDIT
This very sad trio of senior OWNER SURRENDERS huddle together in their
kennel in heartbreaking fear. They clearly love and depend upon one another,
and we really want them to stay together. Daly (A1433836) is a 9 year old
SPAYED female, black smoke and silver Shih Tzu mix. Stretch (A1433833) is a
9 year old SPAYED female, black smoke and white Tibetan Spaniel and Pug.
Bandit (A1433835) is a 9 year old NEUTERED male, black and white Havanese
mix. We only quickly visited them since they are so scared, and we didn't
want to further frighten them. We're hoping a loving adopter will take them
all or a rescue committed to keeping them together will pull. This trio has
been at the shelter since since Oct 25, 2013, and since they are all spayed
and neutered, they can leave the shelter the day you meet them. Please
pledge, share, and most importantly race to the shelter to pull them now!
