. If you are a back office or middle office (risk management) then you are
not technically working at Wall Street.

看你从哪个角度讲了。对 somebody，或者对大部分 quant，经济就是一堆一堆的数字。
你说写数学公式的人是门内还是门外？大帅我是挠脑袋了。

经济学本身就是一堆数学公式组成的。。。
所以会写数学公式的人怎么成了经济学的门外汉了。。。
只有两个分支写数学公式，一个是理论数学，另一个就是经济数学。
其余的人都干不了这个。
写----在这里定义为invention ,不是copy & paste.
