以前一直以为formalism是个流派：拍照时更注重形式而不是内容。
昨天网上跟人讨论时遭到吐槽，说formalism是个methodology，不是流派。
去仔细查了一下，好像确实如此，是从分析的角度出发，而不是创作的角度出发。不管
你作者的创作意图千言万语，我只看你的form。是一种分析方法，而不是流派。

如果是这样的话，就不能说stephen shore的作品风格是formalism，只能说某个对
stephen shore作品的评论风格是formalism。

stephen shore 更多的是被称为"color photography"的先锋吧. 至于他的流派
我还没有听人说过是"formalism", documentary 之类的定义还是比较让大众接受吧。

其实一般评论时大多只说一张照片比较formal，不怎么说你这个是formalism。而且也
并非不注重内容，只是对形式比较追求。
看作品时只看form也被称为formalism倒挺make sense.
我也看到不少称shore formalism的说法。
摘抄new color photography里关于shore的讨论。kaleeg你如果还没读过这本的话，是
时候了。
“Of the principal color photographic formalists, Stephen Shore has most
successfully adapted Evan’s objectivity and aesthetic autonomy. Yet unlike
Evans, who so ably absorbed the significance and sensuousness of his

啊？我和你一样呢。
我一直觉得formalism是种和realism（现实主义）相对的美学（审美）观点，就是注重
形式美（线条，色彩、构图等）不注重具体的内容。。。抽象、立体主义啥的，都算
formalism吧~~~
我感觉像平时ALF贴的那些，我们一看就说好看好看——那种说不出具体含义的好看，
基本都是形式主义的。。。
坐等其他人的看法。。。。
