今天收到卡了，身份的事到此告一段落。在这版上从零开始，在大家帮助下，绿卡知识
积累的越来越多，现在把自己的一点经验写下来，供大家参考，也是对本版的回报。
本人基本情况：
2009年9月来美，国内土博，党员，绿前身份是J1。2011年年底，老板把合同延长到J1
的最大期限（2014年）后，马上办J1 waiver,2012年3月waiver成功。后面着手绿卡申
请。

1）律师太拖拉，终止合同。开始找了个本地律师，那时审稿只有1篇，律师说我的背景
强，问题不大。当时自己全信律师的，觉得自己找对人了。先交2500刀，律师收到钱后
，开始两周接电话还很正常，大家交流还可以。3周后，我把第一封推荐信交给她，给
我磨了一个多月才返回来。还给我说这是她正常的速度。我感觉不对劲，推荐信要6封
，这样算下来，光推荐信就半年，耗不起。电话了几次，律师开始打哈哈了，一会说我
case不强，一会说现在移民局的门槛高了，言外之意就是不要急，你case弱，要有长期
准备的打算，甚至可能被拒。然后是6月份她要回国休假2个月，让我email联系。这下
知道被律师忽悠了，这才仔细看了下合同，2500美金打水漂。赶紧止血，以后就没有和
律师联系过。
2）踢开律师后，每天上mitbbs，主要看rfe以及如何回应，申请知识突飞猛进，那时才
明白当初找律师太仓促，又找个无良的，肠子都悔青了。比较了一下成功的case，担心
中文媒体报道这块容易被RFE，就开始积累审稿。
3）要稿子体会：从6月份开始，每天发信去骚扰主编（直接发给主编），很多时候都是
主编客套的回了一下，也有主编把我放到reviewer list上。8月份终于等来一个伊朗杂
志的审稿邀请，认认真真的审完。然后是另一个伊朗杂志邀请审稿，审完一篇后，这个
伊朗杂志又给我一篇，前后有10篇文章贡献给我了。中间也收到欧洲，巴西以及非洲杂
志的邀请。我感觉在年底的时候特别多，另外就是SPRINGER下面的杂志容易要到审稿。
在发邮件的时候，建议用单位邮箱，刚开始我用HOTMAIL，但回复的比较少。这样到
2013年2月份的时候，有26个审稿。
下面是我索要审稿的信：

4）准备PL，与同领域的比较：在要审稿的过程中，慢慢参考版上的模板准备PL。最头
疼的还是如何和同领域的比较，证明自己是TOP的。我找不到我领域现成的数据，最后
找了5个TOP的学校中与我领域相近的比较。在WEB OF SCIENCES中选5个学校，把这几个
学校中与我专业相近的领域选中，然后比较平均引用，这样来支持我是TOP的，我的贡
献比其他人的大。
5）PP：收到140通知后第二天寄出PP，一星期后批准。不愿意等那么长时间就PP，我一
个朋友等了4个月，还是等来RFE，感觉PP与RFE之间关系不大。
6）I485：a. 体检时去年8月份弄的，但TB阳性，140批准后才作的胸透。体检报告一年
有效，要仔细检查报告，开始医生把我国内出生地址弄错了，可能是我手写的，医生没
看清就敲到电脑里了，然后医生签字。
b.485中我选了党员那栏，然后给出个statement.

Re: Explanation for my Past Membership in Chinese Communist Party

I became a member of Chinese Communist Party in 2001 when I worked
as a young teacher in ××× University in China. At that time, under the
pressure of career development, I joined it since the organization of
Community Party holds a lot of resource to control individual promotion.
Actually, I do not believe the party at all. If you are not a member in
party, you seldom have chances to get administrative position and your
academic promotion will be blocked.
I was never an active member of the Communist Party. I have no
interest in political activity in the party and never involved in any
politically related activities in the party. I never believed in any of the
propaganda the party advocated. I maintained the membership only by paying
my membership dues.
Once I came to United States in September, 2009 to pursue my career
development and improvement of academic ability, I ceased paying my
membership dues and stopped contacting the party organization. According to
the Constitution of Chinese Communist Party, a party member who fails to pay
his/her membership dues for six successive months is regarded as having
given up membership. Therefore, my membership with the Communist Party has
been automatically terminated since April, 2010.

头被拒，工作人员说没问题，不过还是很担心。
