Title: Senior Cloud and Big Data Engineer
Location: Mountain View, CA
We are looking for experienced engineer with cloud and big data background
to join the team, to define and build the global cloud infrastructure and
big data platform. You will have opportunities to use cutting edge
technologies to solve the most challenging topics. This is an open, dynamic,
and fast paced working environment.
Responsibilities:
• Identity key requirements, and come with the best solution to
address their needs.
• Participate in design of global cloud infrastructure and big data
platform, which may need to integrate with partners or 3rd party system.
• Quickly build the prototype as proof of concept, includes
performance testing on global connectivity, latency, and data consistency.
• Keep improving and turning the system, identity performance
bottleneck, enables automatic deployment and system monitoring.
• Be flexible and adaptive to the evolving technologies and industry
dynamics.

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree is required. 5+ years overall industry experience is
desired. AWS experience is a big plus.
• Programming language: Java (preferred), Scala, Python. Script
language is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with application platform, such as RESTful API,
web server, database design (RDBMS and NoSQL), memory cache, log and metrics
collection, system monitoring, testing framework, search engine (Solr/
Elasticsearch).
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure is a big plus, such as
AWS EC2, Kinesis, VPC, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Redshift.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop or Spark, such as HDFS, YARN, Hive,
HBase, Parquet, Spark Streaming, MLlib.
• Experience of setup, monitoring, tuning application and big data
system, is a big plus.
