Thank you for your response.
This product is a perfume and is classified as a Flammable Liquid product.
This item cannot be stored or fulfilled by Amazon as an FBA item at this
time.
Amazon cannot store and fulfill hazardous materials as part of the FBA
program at this time, and hazardous materials are specifically prohibited in
the terms of your agreement with Amazon. Under the terms of your seller
agreement with Amazon, hazardous materials are a prohibited item and
specifically called out in the documentation.
As a part of the FBA program, Amazon cannot be the "shipper of record" for
this type of inventory and Amazon is not licensed to store or fulfill this
classification of inventory per all local and federal guidelines.
Amazon will move the inventory found to be Hazmat to a Hazmat area that
meets all local and federal regulations. Amazon will then hire an outside
3rd party company to come into our warehouse to process the destruction of
hazmat inventory per local and federal guidelines. Our business service
agreement does state a merchant can be billed for these services.
I have waived all future and past fees that are related specifically to the
destruction of any hazmat inventory associated with your account that was
found to be stored within the FBA programs fulfillment network that may have
been charged or could be charged.
I cannot authorize any credit, reimbursement or concession related to the
destruction of any hazmat items that are found to be stored within the FBA
programs fulfillment network.
In addition, we will not carry products requiring special cleanup, handling,
disposal, or storage processes, and we cannot accept any products that
contain chemicals regulated by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (
DEA) or that have been determined to create an unreasonable risk of injury
or illness. A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is required (preferably an
electronic version) for all products for which the manufacturer has issued
an MSDS. Please contact your buyer representative immediately upon receipt
of a purchase order if a hazmat or DEA regulated product is included in any
purchase order.
It is the responsibility of the shipper to ensure that the any materials
that they offer for transportation meet any applicable regulations.
Violation of hazmat regulations may result in federal penalties. Therefore,
it is important that you identify any hazmat that you ship so that you may
meet these requirements as well.
There is no further action that is required on your behalf.
