I found a certificate of driving improvement class last night.
I took this class in 2008 in Virginia and looks like I did not turn it back
to the court. But I remember I asked the teacher what I should do next, he
said all set. But in TX, 100% need to turn the certificate back to the court.
So I ordered my driver record from Virginia to check, the driving record
only shows:
License: surrendered 06/2008 , surrendered rsn: to other state
court restriction: None
Am I safe?
thanks.............I am scared that one people in the defensive driving
class last weekend is almost arrested because he did not pay the ticket 10
years ago out of Texas.............

你没付罚单？
上课就是认罚啊，如果自己有理无罪干嘛要上课。加州都是付罚单的时候同时交学费，
然后自己上课去。证书是直接寄给法院的，不用自己操心。
认识一个俄国人，曾经有一叠没付的罚单。过了几年他挣了点钱，跑去付罚单，结果人
家跟他说找不到记录了。。。

yes, I paid for the ticket and the class fee. But I did not mail back the
certificate. I asked the teacher there, they said all set, but I emailed
them yesterday, they said I should mail it back in order to follow the court
's law. So confused.It was 3 years ago. I found the certificate yesterday.

付了就没事吧，反正在我们这儿上课只是为了消点，不消点保险会涨。保险公司好像也
就看三年，所以要涨保费也已经涨过了。
