I just can't get along with it.
It breaks my heart because the image quality is superb. As good as any
camera I've shot from canon 5ds to Nikon d700 and d3
It sits side by side Sonys Nex7 with 24mm Carl zeiss lens on my kitchen
table. The biggest thing to me is that the nex is so much easier to pick up
and shoot. The xpro1 just seems so clunky for my hands. My fingers
constantly hit a button by mistake. It is just not comfortable in my hands.
I can pick the nex up and throw it around in my hands and it just feels so
natural. so much easier to shoot.
I'm not going to go on about the AF. I saw a blog that compared the nex and
xpro saying the xpro was much faster in focusing. That is just bull. He also
went on to tell me in his blog that he had heard nothing about the AF on
xpro being slow. Really? I guess he doesn't read the forums out there.
I look forward to fuji putting this sensor in another camera. I'll be first
in line to preorder when they do.
Good luck everyone else. If its all about image quality, this is the camera!
