"I don't have a very good or pleasant experience with this store. I placed
my order in the morning on Tuesday 4/23, by Friday 4/26 I have not received
any tracking nor shipping confirmation from the store. Called their 888
number, got transfer about 3 times, finally after 15 minutes hold, I was
told that there was a delay from Nikon. Why on earth did they take my order
and have nothing in stock ? This is not a very good practice, wasted 3 days
and ended up order from somewhere else.
To be fair, they have not charged my credit card for the order."

My Story:
I had to file a claim to my bank account for 1,008.98 in UNSHIPPED items.
My total order (placed on Sept 04) was for:
1 Canon EOS 5D Mark II
1 Canon Speedlite 580EX II, shoe mount flash
1 Canon BG-E6 Vertical Battery Holder Grip f/EOS 5D Mark II
1 5 year Ditigal Camera Warranty Up to $3000 PLATINUM
1 Extended Life LPE6 Lithium Ion Battery w/3 year replacement warranty 5hr
1 Deluxe Hard Diffuser for Canon 580 EX
TOTAL: $3,399.99
This company took forever to ship out items. Made excuses one after another.
They left this out of the FedEX box (BOX HAD NO EVIDENCE OF BEING TAMPERED
WITH):
1 Canon Speedlite 580EX II, shoe mount flash
1 Deluxe Hard Diffuser for Canon 580 EX
1 5 year Ditigal Camera Warranty Up to $3000 PLATINUM
A total value of: $1,008.98
After placing a claim with my Bank account, they only refunded the Canon
Speedlight + Deluxe Hard Diffuse totalling $508.99
They rebutted the Warranty, and the bank said they made this claim: "The
merchant provided policy that was agreed to by you in terms of this charge."
Which no such thing has been provided to Best Price Photo. My bank is
currently sending this "policy" so that I may have it on file as now my
claims just doesn't end at the bank.
Hopefully Best Price Photo, in their very best interest, will contact me
IMMEDIATELY via the email they have on file for me after this has been
posted, and refund the rest of my order that they never sent out. I will
retract this statement, and destroy all documents regarding this matter.
I will not post on any other reviews site, and BestPricePhoto and I can part
ways.

"Not a good place to shop, price too good to be true, then it probably is.
I ordered camera on Saturday 4/13/13, Tue. 4/16 site showed still "In
Process", I called, they tried to upsell me a better battery, before I could
ask when camera would ship, they hung up on me. Today, 4/17, my credit card
still not charged and still status still In Process, so I check reviews
here. Not good, so felt I should nip this in the bud. I canceled my credit
card (getting new card, BestPricePhoto won't be able to charge my card), and
called to cancel my order. After a very brief call, the CSR confirmed my
order canceled and hung up on me. I HOPE that is the end of it. I will pay
more for my camera, but with a "known" reputable company."

"I placed an order online 03/20/2013 late night for a Canon 5D Mark III Grey
market model, the website states the item is available in stock. I received
a call from him the next morning stating the Grey Market model will take 4-
6 weeks because he has to import it. I decided to order the US model @ the
higher price. He told me it is in stock and would get shipped after
processing (24-48hrs). He charged my credit card immediately, and I never
heard back. I sent an email 96 business hours later (Wednesday) asking for a
tracking number, never heard back again. Called him on 3/29 (Friday) to
find out a status of the order. He tells me it was shipped and will arrive 4
/9. I told him thats not acceptable as I need it for this weekend. He then
puts me on hold and comes back saying it will arrive 4/1 and he upgraded to
UPS shipping. (How can you change a shipment that already went out???) I
live in New Jersey - 1 shipping day from New York City area whether it's UPS
or USPS. He claimed due to the holidays the post office and UPS aren't
working..... Bull......They are working.. His intent was to ship it out
today. I became busy and decided to call back later, when I did call back
looking for a tracking number I explained who I am and he hangs up the phone
. I called back told him who I am and he hangs up again. I sent the company
an email explaining I am not happy with the services and the rude personel (
possibly the owner). I received a call back from him playing dumb, saying he
didn't hang up. So I told him to cancel my order because I know he didn't
ship it yet... He hung up again. I had to call my credit card company for a
dispute and they will get my money back.
Their prices aren't that good especially to treat their customers paying $
3000 like garbage.
Don't waste your time and money... go with highly respected companies. I
have gone to a different company and received it same day locally (picked up
)."
