一周前的onsite. 感觉还可以, 不算perfect. 主要是最后的题挺难的, 我的思路是对
的, 但是短时间没想到最优解, 多给点时间静下来想想应该能做出来. 回来查了查, 是
计算几何学上的题.
他家据说如果最后见不到大老板, 就是不成功. 我最后也见到了大老板, 主要是一些
behavior的, culture fit in的聊天式, 整个过程比较愉快.
hiring manager 面完后, 暗示有约好的其它面世者也需要面, 需要一段时间. 忘了说,
职位只有一个, 不是general hire.
这周, 发email给recruiter, recruiter 回 "still waiting for the completed
feedback from the team, and apologize for the delay".
这种情况请分析一下, 需要给hiring manager 发信问吗?
是继续等待还是move on? 多谢建议.

我之前在一个地方短期工作的时候跟一个名校的中国女孩转租下来了房子。当时她的奖
学金cover living，学校免费给了她这个房间，她搬到了他的男朋友那里，把房间转租
给我，一个月净赚700多。
话说她的男朋友也是那所名校毕业之后，连博后都没做，直接当了AP。是白人，算是帅
哥吧。我这两天突然想起他们，在网上查了一下。那个白人AP到了一所南部的不错的学
校当了associate prof。看了他在自己的主页上的biography。只字不提那所他做了博
士做了很多年AP的名校。只讲他现在做什么研究，是什么职位。
对一个普通人来说能在那所学校做associate已经很不错了。但他心里肯定有一种伤痛
永远不想别人触碰。他不开心，因为他不知足。
从那个女孩的只言片语中听到的，感觉这个男的做人很精明，但是不厚道。估计原来学
校系里有人看不惯吧。不清楚，只是自己猜测。
记得那个女孩跟我说跟这个人结婚总得多留一个心眼。那个女孩很坚强。

我现在有个pending offer, 但是比较想去他家. 这样只能把第一家拖着, 比较难办.

here the muggers did not show immediate threats on his life,
while he fired all 4 muggers.
compare the MN Meng hunter case, that guy was already threatened by a large
group of hostile hunters who shot at him, and he didn't kill them all,

Meng case is a little different.
If I remebered right, he actually came back and hunted those guys down.
If he simply fired back and killed one or two, he might be fine.
but he hunted them down after he scared the heck out of those guys and they
fled from him.
i agreed with your comment on justice though.

可以放在你的property里面，包括你的家和车
放在车里面的话，手枪要unloaded, locked放在trunk里

这个案子有特殊背景，而且这个人也是先被打过的。我觉得现在华人如果对老黑开枪的
话，安全些了。。。。。朱利安尼上了以后NYC比三番好了吧。三番一直很垃圾。这么
小的城市，黑人聚居不多，跟NYC没法比。应该容易治理很多。所以三番的警察被评价
很低。

突然想到这么个科学问题：星座灵不灵一般人会带着自己的答案去对照，总有一部分
说法是对的，所以相信的人越来越多。
解决的办法很简单，就是盲法。让一批自以为星座知识很丰富的人去猜。
