Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provide solution delivery and expert support for OTT head-end integration
and to enable end-to-end streaming delivery and content playback on OTT
device.
Register, understand and own post-sales customer problems/issues with the
application of DTS audio technologies and leverage of SDKs.
Design, Develop and build Proof-of-Concept (PoC) solutions and technology
demonstrations.
Assist with creating simple wrappers/bindings as-needed for DTS product
integration and testing.
Support pre-sales business development and customer engagement with
technical product presentation and demonstration.
Working in a team, develop sample playback systems, and process for next-
generation solutions.
Required Education and Experience
Familiarity with common streaming formats (HLS, MPEG-DASH) and media file
format specification
Demonstrable knowledge of solution delivery experience for OTT (streaming)
eco-system development
The candidate will have or will demonstrate the aptitude to develop in-depth
knowledge of audio technology and in audio subsystem architecture
Expertise in target application system architecture definition (in
particular one of IPTV, streaming, customer premises equipment/set top boxes
or mobile markets)
5 years’ experience in product engineering, applications engineering, and/
or related area is a requirement of the role
Eng., BSc degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or
related discipline
Embedded system knowledge using C/C++ to support customer product
implementation
Hands-on skills with Android and iOS solution development is very desirable
Demonstrated critical skills in organization, communication and technical
project management
A genuine interest and passion in audio and video technology and support of
customers
Familiarity or experience with Agile Scrum framework is a plus
