为啥,p970上写的 The lifetime learning credit is based on qualified education expenses you pa y for yourself, your spouse, or a dependent for whom you claim an exemption on your tax return. Generally, the credit is allowed for qualified education expenses paid in 2009 for an academic period beginning 2009 or in the first 3 months of 2010. 我是付的2009 spring的学费啊
2009年算resident alien, 04年来的, 刚查到一个 Tax Info for Current Students Because the IRS allows the first 3 months of 2010 to be included on the 1098 -T statement, Box 7 will be checked if any of the numbers (payments or charg es) may include 2010 data. This makes things a bit messy since the data may not actually match what happened in 2009. When you file your taxes, you wi ll NOT attach the 1098-T that you receive – it is supposed to help you figu re the credit. Confused yet? This can be simpler -
【在 e******d 的大作中提到】 : Then you are not qualified for the credit. : You were NOT a resident alien.
