In a team of statistical and clinical colleagues, local, national and
international vision
research is being developed and carried out. As a statistician of the
department you
are primarily responsible for the analyses and report of results of
different research,
including clinical trials and observational studies.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
• Work independently on assigned projects dealing with the use and
application
of statistical techniques.
• Design, develop and implement statistical models for assigned
projects.
• Effectively present results of analysis conducted along with all
relevant details
both verbally and in figures and tables in an organized and concise manner.
• Data cleaning and checking raw data to ensure first-time quality
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Masters degree or above in biostatistics, epidemiology, mathematics/
statistics
or another relevant discipline
• Experience in a comparable work environment where complex
statistical
analysis is a key output
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of advanced terms, concepts and theories related to
statistics.
• Knowledge of windows-based operating system, word-processing,
spreadsheet
and database applications.
• Demonstrated experience in using a wide range of statistical
techniques
• Ability to design and implement statistical models for particular
data analyses
and problem solving.
• Proficiency with statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, etc.).
• Sufficient knowledge of English to read and write English
manuscripts.
中山大学中山眼科中心是国家重点大学中山大学的附属医院，始建于1965年，由
已故著名眼科专家陈耀真、毛文书教授创办，现为国家三级甲等医院，是国内唯一的
眼科学国家重点实验室的依托单位。中山眼科中心下设眼科医院、眼科研究所、防盲
治盲办公室和眼科视光学系，是集眼科医疗、科研、教学、保健和防盲治盲为一体的

工作职能
l 能独立项目所需统计技术的使用和应用。

妈妈来美探亲2个多月了，每天都吃抗花粉过敏的药，才会好一点，要不然眼泪直流，鼻
子狂痒，但是没有给她买医疗保险，我也不知道去看老美医生多少钱，来版上问问有没
有人一样的情况，看看有没有更好的药。（btw：我也不确定是不是花粉过敏，反正她吃
了感冒药或者花粉过敏的药就好一点，不吃就又开始了，但是她自己说肯定不是感冒。
）

是不是就是每个人可以拿$400（夫妻一共$800）？看了那些例外都是说什么拿Social
Security的之类的。是不是一般人（收入不超过$75000的）就是填个Schedule M，然后
就可以拿$400？就像去年的那个$600一样？

乡愁像一首歌，一首让我们唱尽离散与思念的歌。快过年了，又想家了，思念的情绪总
是悄悄地蔓延在我的脑海与心里。我们总在离家后才能听得懂乡愁，我们总在异地他乡

转眼又是一个本命年，在妈妈的视频中，她告诉我今年要买大红的衣服，大红的腰带和
内裤，还有大红色的袜子。我不禁想起了小时候的本命年，那一年我才12岁，我还是个
读小学的小姑娘。因为皮肤不算太白，所以妈妈平日里总是不给我穿大红的衣服，而那
一年过年的新衣竟是一条大红色的裙子。妈妈说：“本命年了，要穿大红的衣服转运。
”这话真的好暖心，让我好想家，想我那美丽的家乡。

Allergy is more and more considered not as a disease, so that a lot
treatment are available over the counter. Besides 2nd generation anti-
histamine, ie Claritin, Allergra, Zyrtec, Zaditor is an effective eye drop
that contains anti-histamine.
One thing you cannot get OTC is nasal spray. Steroid nasal spray such as
Fluticasone, Nasonex are very effective and safe (don't be scared by steroid
, they are not the same as oral steroid). But they need a prescription.

First verify it's pollen instead of indoor sources (e.g. dust mite, molds):
* What's your local pollen count at http://www.pollen.com/ ?
* Are the symptoms correlated with being outdoors, or having dry/windy
weather?
If it's pollen, she can also try these non-medical things:
* Trying to stay indoors during high pollen time
* Air cleaner with HIPA filter
* Nasal irrigation daily
* Homeopathic remedies formulated for pollen allergy. They are very diluted
herbal formulas, and work for some people

去年的$600我指的是Recovery rebate credit，在去年的1040第70行。

总算搞明白了，还以为去年多交了600块。那个Recovery rebate credit是给前年没有
拿到那600块钱的人的。前年拿到了就没有这个了。
