To the undergraduates in EE from SUNY BUFFALO and Oregon State U, which one
is easier to landing a job? SUNY BUFFALO is located in Buffalo, high
criminal rate but a large city, not so close to NYC; OSU is located in a
city of 50,000, it is 80 miles from Portland.
In the university ranking and engineering school ranking, the 1st one is
better; but EE program ranking, 2nd one is better.

Buffalo is a decent engineering school while Oregon state univ. is not.

Do you even know Orst's EE program?
It's top 5 in AMS IC design (behind Stanford Berkeley UCLA TAMU)and boasts
good connection in lots of major Semi companies.

UB is actually in Amherst, the safest city in the USA.
But it is not that close to NYC, just like how OSU close to bay area.
location-wise, there is no difference,

Career wise, it should be easier for EE major to get a job in silicon valley
with OSU connections. As for the location, that depends on your personal
preference.

这两个学校有什么区别，我觉得都是一个档次的。
美国只有3类学校，名校，小有名气的学校，普通学校
很明显这两个学校都是普通学校，和san jose state都是一样的学校
毕业就知道了，去工业界，去学术界，这两个学校被待见都是一样的
找个该校研究方向好地去学就对了

这个错大了。 EE在北校园，属于Amherst，是全美名列前茅的安全城市。

I got another admission from the University of Utah. The EE program ranking
of this one is better than the above two, but the location may not be good.
Is this one easier to landing a job?

Check out which of the three schools is a member of AAU (Association of
American Universities). Only leading public and private research
universities in the US and Canada are granted AAU membership.
