High level officials from City of ZhangJiaGang will be in Silicon Valley
hosting a Business Plan Completion event on June 9th, 2012. A committee
from North America Chinese Clean-tech & Semiconductor Association
(NACSA), Chinese American Semiconductor Professional Association (CASPA)
and Chinese American Information Storage Society (CAISS) is formed to
help facilitate this event and invite Silicon Valley entrepreneurs,
leading top talents and high-tech professionals to participate.
Business proposals will be collected and pre-screened by NACSA, CASPA
and CAISS for city officials; final review. Selected teams will be
informed to attend the event on June 9th, 2012, to present their
projects and to be judged by a panel of officials from the city, venture
capitals and angle investors from Silicon Valley. Three prizes of $500,
$300, and $200 will be awarded to the top position winners with plaques.
The winners will be invited for a ZhangJiaGang trip in July, 2012 to get
an abundance of first-hand information about local government support
funds and details about returning to start the business in China. The
trip is covered by the city with 7000 RMB (one person per team) for
international roundtrip airfares and personal spending in China.
