这里的学者指的是国内有单位公费来美进修人员，他们用纳税人的钱来美主要做三件事
1. 旅游和购物
2. 带孩子来享受免费教育
3. 再生一个孩子，用的还是美国纳税人的钱。

我又不是美国人，我交的税，反正也是给别人白吃掉的，给访问学者用了和给老墨老黑

任何中国人来占用美国纳税人的钱的，都是为祖国作贡献，包括医疗教育等等
来买爱马仕的官太太，才是卖国贼

don't forget that Chinese government sponsors each visiting scholar at least
$10,000 per year, which are from taxpayers in China.
If the visiting scholars are required to pay themselves, who would like to
come
to have babies and go grocery shopping?

transparent in China. Most visiting scholars who can get these chances are
those
who can have very deep relationship with the corresponding officals.
Majority of them are FEMALE.
But interestingly, the number of male researchers are much more than that of
female researchers.

No.
The control of final decision is on the hand of male officials
who favor to give these chances to femal visiting scholars so that
these women could not threaten their own positions once they returned
as well as male visiting scholars.
This is the main reason why excellent male scholars weren't sponsored.

visa officers know this.
this is why their visas can be granted so easily.
