The Center for Combustion Energy at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China,
aims to build a world-class center on research and graduate education in
combustion and fluid science http://www.cce.tsinghua.edu.cn/. A strong faculty base has already been assembled on several foundational core disciplines, as: theoretical and experimental combustion chemistry, turbulence and turbulent combustion, combustion CFD, coal combustion, internal combustion engines, and astro-combustion. We are now seeking additional faculty appointments at all ranks in a wide range of activities complementing the current strength, including but not limited to: advanced experimental and computational diagnostics, atmospheric and pollutant chemistry, multiphase flows, low-Reynolds-number flows, radiation-affected combustion, fire and explosion hazards, combustion synthesis of materials, catalytic and plasma-assisted combustion, and reactive flows in biological systems. Applicant should have a doctorate or equivalent, with a strong research and publication record. The Center offers a competitive salary, generous start-up package, and on-campus housing. Successful applicant may also be nominated for the various government-sponsored recruitment programs such as the 1000 Talents program, the Young 1000 Talents program, and the Chang-Jiang Scholars program.
Application package should include: (1) a cover letter, (2) a detailed
curriculum vitae, (3) a brief narrative of current and future research
interests, and (4) an optional list of three professional references. Send
all application material to [email protected]
/* */ Review of
applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are
filled.
Applications for post-doctoral positions are also invited on a continuing
basis.
