last time we did for our parents, I called agent and got
some kind of verification. coz by that time no flight
schedule was out, no body could buy ticket.

I never mentioned it in the application. Additional documents they need:
Evidence to establish that you have a residence abroad to which you intend to
return;
Evidence that you are in possession of a return transportation ticket or that
you have the funds neccessary to secure your departure from the US;
Statement in which you describe your intention conerning departure from the
US.
