I found a keylogger on my computer a while ago. Meanwhile some people got to
know a lot about me that I've never told anybody. I was suspecting that
someone hacked my computer and installed the keylogger and got my
password to my emails. Is that doable remotely or does it have to be done
physically in front of the computer? How can I make sure I've got rid of
everything bad and how can I prevent it from happening again? Thanks a bunch
!!

还真有keylogger呀
keylogger不是什么发射装置吧? 只是个记录器?
建议: 赶快改所有的password. (不过你SSN什么的是改不了了)
Just curious: 是在你的office还是home?

the one I found is on the home computer. don't know whether work computer
has it or not. that's part of reason why I'm here: to find out how to detect
these things and get rid of them!

Reinstall system. Patch system to the newest version.
Install personal firewall, AntiVirus.
Change Admin password to to be hard to guess.
