My ld received a spam email says that her Amazon account was limited and
asked her to click a link. On the page she provided her name, SSN, and birth
date. She stopped when the second page asked her for credit card
information. However, the spammer should have got the info she provided on
the first page.
My question is, what consequence might here be? I hope there is something I
might be able to do to stop that. I have reported the page to IC3 but I do
not think they may help.
