I sold a stock today with loss. (I then bought this stock back at a lower
price on the same day.) Will this loss be eligible for tax deduction?
though I bought this stock back?

或者当VP什么的呢？

yes if you sell the stocks again before end of the year. no otherwise.
if you hold and sell next year, the loss will be carried to next year.
this is a typical wash sale problem.
