It's hard to say. Dollar went strong from December, yet the market still
keep going up until Jan, putting a lot of pressure on me at that time,
while I was on the bear side.

There was a consolidation region of USD between 79 and 81 back in last Jun/
Jul. I guess many people initiated
their carry trade position since then. As USD index approaches to this
region (today's close 80.38). Many of
these position would be stopped out.
I guess that is why we see dollar appreciation is accelerating in last week.
