People say China "won't have a financial crisis because there's central
planning, because there's a high savings rate, because there's a large pool
of labor, blah blah," he added. "I say of course China will have a financial
crisis one day."

China will have its share of financial problems. But compare with problems
in US, it is really nothing.
The health care cost itself will kill the USA unless we start some serious
reform. Of course, it will hurt lots of special interest group. I don't
think it will get it done under current system.

No matter what, I do not think that China is not yet on the level to be able
to compare (compete) with the States.
How ridiculous to see how Chinese people (in Mainland) believe that
Americans are living in the hell...

Most of the people I talked to in China still still think American is a
paradise.
Actually, Most of the so called middle class basically lives paycheck by
paycheck. Just try to make ends meet every day.
