现在我的状态是
On December 3, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30
days for your card to be mailed to you.
要再等30天？多久才能收到工卡啊？状态还会改变成usps已经mailed这个card之类的吗
？我看人家的最终状态都是usps几号delivered card啊，担心中。
打电话问了，说还没有寄出卡。

institutional traders在路径上也会产生很多噪音的，比如搞hft的会在distribution
时买，或accumulation时卖，因为那时流动性都特别好

我疑问的是已经2天过去了，状态没有变，还是说ordered card，没有mailed card，这
个正常吗？
我的case之前足足等了90天没动静才催的，我看排在我后面的号一般一个多月就
delivered card了。
我的offer这个周五就过期了，急等工卡啊，还有什么办法能再加快点吗？

我一直的问题就是HFT这样不是和Market Maker/Specialist争利吗？
MM可以搞HFT啊，还有特权。

offer周五过期了，难道你就可以用EAD吗？那还得继续找offer对吧。EAD跟你现在的工
作没有帮助，只能帮你下一份工作。话说一旦用了EAD了，新雇主/OFFER，欢喜不得，
HR不用办H1B烦人的文件。

The "MM" I was referring to is Market Maker/Specialist, not Market
Manipulator.
Market Maker/Specialist cannot possibly be low frequency. Or am I missing something here?

yes, mm is market maker
when you are quoting both bid/ask price in order to profit from the spread,
you are hft, and faster machines make more trades with tighter spreads.
but sometimes when there is buy/sell imbalance, you need to take the other
side of the trade, that may not be hft
