六月份的时候，Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump denounced
Common Core as a “disaster” and “a way of taking care of the people in
Washington” who don’t “give a damn about education” at the Family
Leadership Summit in Iowa on Saturday.
Trump said, “Common Core has to be ended. It’s a disaster. It’s a way of
taking care of the people in Washington that, frankly, I don’t even think
they give a damn about education, half of them. And I’m sure some of you
maybe do.”
Trump was then asked if he wanted to use the word ‘damn,’ He responded, “
I will, I will, because people want to hear the truth, Frank.”
Trump later added, “I mean, exactly what Frank said is what’s wrong with
our country. We’re so politically correct that we can’t move anymore. …
We have to be able to express ourselves.”
今天TRUMP好像要开始继续搞教育问题了。
Common Core is a complete disaster! We need local education, with local
people, and local schools. However - some bureaucrats in Washington just
want to make more money! Not under my watch!

$2.86 now, looks like this will be it for today. But am I going to lose
more tomorrow or ZLC will bounce back to over $3 by week's end?

when a rumor about bk comes up, zlc usually goes down as low as 1.8-2.2. but
again, it's difficult to go bk. It can easily prevent the bk by closing a
couple of stores and do some aggressive marketing.

The news today is actually semi-good. Zales got an extension from Citibank
today. However, the price keeps falling to $2.7x, looks like I have to hold
it for weeks now. There should be a lot of people in late Jan got trapped
around $2.8, and I guess they are the long holders (otherwise, they should
have sold it in late Feb or anytime in March) so 2.8 is supposed to be a
support.

都破了2.7了。刚才看了下新闻，不是说citi逼着他还钱么。6个米虽然不多，但是他现
在本来cash就不多，说不定就是最后一根稻草阿。
不过我也觉得他最终可能还是不会破产。2.5以下看看能不能捡一点

不过他家的质量是很差,非常差.不知道TIFFANY会怎么样...

Borders will go down the road to Chapter 11. Slowly but surely, it will
squander shareholders' equity in that process.
In contrast, Block Buster's recent decision to go for a voluntary bankrupcy is a lot more commendable.

未来的趋势是电子书，borders肯定是要破产的。
zlc是做珠宝的，还是不太一样，只要这次能稳住，等失业率下降经济恢复，它还是能
活过来的。

我同意wuliao的,作为企业，尤其是珠宝企业，破产保护代价太大了，借债成本会剧增
，还要花几亿现金来做重组，供应商这块也会不愿意合作，整个打击会非常大，所以对
于management来说这绝对是last way。
有extension是好消息，而且银行应该会进一步延，当然股价也会进一步跌。本来这时
候同行老大应该会有兴趣来收购的，毕竟他家的渠道连锁店很有价值，但这年头珠宝都
不景气，手里都缺钱。
2.8应该不是支撑，上次跌的太狠了，大家不敢在这个价位reload了。

rebounce from 2.6x to 2.8, but it seems difficult to go higher today.
