2012年的第一场雪： 纪念刀郎,纪念我的2012
Couple years ago, when I was still a school boy, I loved the song named “
First Snow of 2012” by 刀郎. I can’t tell the exact reason but just loved
it…Now time flies and we are trying to catch the tail of 2012. Lots of
things happened in my family, in the world and on the earth planet. I still
recalled the anxiety lots of people had about the 2012 predictions,volcano,
earthquake,lots of natural disasters that might occur in 2012. Fortunately,
we are still alive by the last month of 2012. Thanks God…
Several days ago, I woke up earlier in the morning because of kind of
nightmare. I walked in the room surrounded by heating, but still could feel
the cold sneaking from the crack of the front door. ..It was a peaceful and
quiet morning when I looked out through the kitchen window. I found the
drive-way and alley were covered by the light snow…The first thought came
to my mind was, wow, another winter again~! Then the next thought was, God,
my 485 case has been pending for almost 1 year…I still remember the scenes
of last winter when we walked to the post office to mail the 485 package to
TSC, where our American dream begins. It was a warm sunny morning…
What happened to me in 2012 ? what did I experience in my heart on the way
to be “green-ed” ? honestly, I was confident firstly, then anticipated by
the 6th month of my 485 case, turned totally worried by 9 months, and
finally defeated by depression, frustration and failure when I realized it
has kept me almost 1-year waiting time.. I tried not to check mitbbs cause
the more I checked, the more painful I felt in my heart…Sometimes, I
comfort myself, life is still a life, just keep moving..GC is not the end of
trail,it is just another beginning of your family. Don’t lose yourself.

Very beautiful sentences.
I am always telling myself and my friend who is also suffering from the
burden of the card: in the end, the only thing matters is that you are pound
of yourself to make through all kinds of challenges (physical, mental,
emotional, whatever).
Sometime, I saw my child playing around me, I suddenly realized that the
true happiness came from our heart. I will also keep learning how to enjoy
the PRESENT.
